If you’re a tourist and haven’t tried Peranakan food before, this is a good place to give it a try. Clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Nostalgic 30’s Chinese music that sounds like it’s coming from a gramophone in an upstairs room.More importantly the food is excellent. We came on a week night for dinner at around 7:30pm. It was almost full but managed to get the second last table for 2 straight away. By 8:30pm many tables had cleared. Kitchen closes before 9pm so don’t show up too late.Highly recommended

Chicken Lobak.. Never tasted anything similar. Chicken / Turnips inside beancurd wrap.Nyonya Chicken rendang does not include rice so get a side, you’re going to need it to soak in the gravy. Additionally, it is a very well made rendang.I’d skip appetizers next time just for it.Great service also, worth a stop.

I like their fried mee siam and fried calamari. Rendang nyonya was good too. I think their Pai tee cup, it is delicious but too bad I don't like their jiu hu char (fried sengkuang). The one that wrapped with cabbage taste a bit soury but the staff claimed that it is indeed taste in such way.

It's a small restaurant where there is no spacious space between tables. Service is good and the staff are attentive. The food is delicious. I especially love their ponteh chicken. However, the portion is a bit too small for the price we paid. Somehow, they don't serve hot drinks, so there are only iced beverages available.
